Custom orders

Here are a few custom orders I've done lately.  Abby's dance teacher, Miss Cindy, asked me to make a jacket to go with her daughter's Prom dress.  I was very nervous to sew something so fancy--I definitely didn't want her to look "homemade" for Prom!  The pattern they wanted me to use was cute but old and the instructions were goofy, so I had to improvise.  I used some skills I learned making the jackets for me and Abby. I made a practice jacket first out of some ugly fabric I had in my stash.  I think the finished product turned out pretty well--it looks really cute on her!  It's a shorter, bolero style jacket with a really cute pleat detail on the sleeves.  I told her I needed a picture of her on Prom night--I'll post it here when I get it.

Here's a fun outfit for Sarah's little girl.  Abby saw it and wants one just like it. :) The smocked top and patchwork skirt are so much fun!
